Medical Educator Pathway(IM/MP)
Going into residency, I knew that I wanted to not only learn how to be a great medical educator but also be a part of shaping how we improve medical education. Being a part of the medical educator track has been invaluable in providing me with these skills and reaching these career goals. As a part of the track I have focused elective opportunities to practice teaching residents and medical students. The medical education elective has taught me how to create effective lesson plans and then allowed me to apply that throughout residency. I know that through this track I will be a better medical educator, and will be able to use these skills in my career and help shape the physicians of the future.
