Lori comes to us from West Palm Beach, Florida. Lori was very involved in the community leader as a medical student. She served as the lead project manager for the South Dade Health Fair, served as a coordinator in the LMSA, and served as a teaching assistant for the COATS high school anatomy outreach program here in Miami. She has an interest in medical education, serving as a near peer academic support tutor and a clinical skills trainer. Additionally, Lori has a strong interest in genetics and is getting her Master’s in Genomic Medicine. She also did research in FODMAPs diet in pediatric patients. In the future, she has an interest in clinical genetics and caring for patients with complex medical needs transitioning to adult care. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys photography, salsa dancing, yoga, and running. We are excited to have Lori continue her training as a Med-Peds physician here at UM/Jackson.
