Undergraduate: B.S. Neuroscience, University of Texas at Dallas
Nedeke is from Plano, Texas. As a medical student, Nedeke was very active working with the unhoused, serving as the clinic coordinator at the student-run homeless shelter. She was also the co-President of the Neonatal student interest group and served as the SNMA outreach coordinator. She has also been inducted as a member Sigma Sigma Phi in recognition for her work in the community. She was involved in research exploring genes associated with cerebral palsy and Duchenne muscular dystrophy, which has led to two first author publications and multiple presentations. As a future physician, Nedeke is interested in Med-Peds hospital medicine, academic medicine, and continuing her work in community outreach. When not in the hospital, she enjoys cooking Nigerian dishes, crochet, and podcasts. We are excited to have Nedeke join our Med-Peds family and see how her future as a physician advocate unfolds over the next 4 years.
