Frantzia is our true triple Cane, having completed her undergrad, med school, and now residency here at UM.  She is originally from Pembroke Pines, Florida.  As a medical student, she has used her training in public health to help the community, including work with the Plant-based Food Prescription Program (led by one of our Med-Peds residents!) and studying PrEP uptake and HIV stigma in the Haitian community.  She has been involved in the SNMA, and the Human Rights Clinic, and the DOCS Clinic at the Center for Haitians Studies.  She is interested in Med-Peds hospitalist or community medicine and medical education.   She enjoys a variety of sports, including Spikeball, travelling, and exploring the food scene in Miami. We are excited to have Frantzia continue to be part of our Med-Peds community and look forward to her future career serving the community in Miami!
