Lily Chang, M>D.

Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine

Undergraduate: B.A., Biochemistry, Washington University in St. Louis

Lily is from Miami, FL.  As a medical student, she excelled as an educator and advocate.  Early in her medical school career she participated in mental health research in Uganda and had been very involved in global health activities.  She was involved in advocacy against human trafficking and organized the annual symposium at VCU.  She has been recognized as a leader at her institution, interviewed for the medical school, and served as APAMSA president. For her dedication to the community, she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.   She has also been engaged in research with transgender you and adolescents.  Her future interests include combined Med-Peds primary care, immigrant health, and global health.  In her free time, she enjoys baking, playing tennis and pickle ball, and ceramics.  We are excited to welcome Lily back to Miami, and to see how her passions and career grow as a Med-Peds resident over the next 4 years.
